ANDERSON, S.C. - The game notes for the Anderson University women's basketball team's road game with South Atlantic Conference opponent Carson-Newman have been released.
Coming off its highest point total and margin of victory this season on Monday, Anderson looks to return to the winning side of its SAC record, as it currently sits in a tie for seventh-place in the league standings with an even 9-9 record. Despite being in seventh, AU finds itself just a game behind a jam in fourth-place as three teams hold 10-8 marks.
Carson-Newman is one of those three squads in fourth-place, as it posted a 73-62 win over Brevard on Monday, snapping a six-game losing streak. Overall, the Eagles are 13-11 as they head down the final stretch of the 2013-14 season.
The Trojans will be seeking their second straight series sweep after AU defeated the Eagles 72-51 on Jan. 29 at the Abney Athletic Center.
The game will be broadcast on FOX SPORTS Radio 1280 AM, WANS and will also be available on the internet at www.wrixfm.com and the Anderson web site at www.autrojans.com, along with video and live stats. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.
