SUMTER, S.C. – No. 2 Anderson University men's tennis fell to No. 3 Wingate in the South Atlantic Conference Tournament semifinal match on Friday morning at the Palmetto Tennis Center.
Wingate overcame six match points during the No. 1 slot's doubles match to claim the first point of the match.
Anderson evened the match up at, 1-1, with freshman Juan Sengariz win over Jonas Grasmueck. However, the Bulldogs proved to be too much on this particular day, winning three more singles matches to clinch the victory.
The Trojans fate for postseason play falls into the hands of the NCAA Regional Rankings.
