ANDERSON, S.C. - After nearly a year of construction, the new home of Anderson University men's and women's tennis is nearing completion at the athletic campus.
The state-of-the-art facility includes eight courts, with four
additional courts on the drawing board and scheduled to be
completed in the not-too-distant future. Along with the courts, the
tennis tower features four coaches' offices, two spacious locker
rooms and a team meeting/conference area on the second level, each
equipped with big-screen televisions and featuring both wireless
and hard-wired internet.
The first floor of the structure houses rest rooms, laundry facilities and a storage area alongside a large concession stand. The entire area is equipped with Musco Lighting and a high-tech sound system to provide a topnotch and first-class NCAA tennis venue for both Trojan players and fans.
Immediately adjacent to the tennis facility is a recreational swimming pool that gently slopes to a depth of four feet and will be available on occasion to students, faculty and staff and summer campers.
