Cross Country Prepares for NCAA Southeast Regionals

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Anderson University men's and women's cross country teams are preparing for the 2022 NCAA Southeast Regionals hosted by Wingate University in Charlotte, N.C. at the Wingate University XC Course on Saturday (Nov. 19).

"This is the meet we have been looking forward to all year for both teams," said coach Kevin Eagle. "We know that we are fully capable of having both teams make it out of the regional round and make it to nationals in Seattle two weeks from now. That has been the focus and main goal all season, so now we must go out and execute. Everyone is ready to compete and lay it on the line on Saturday!"

The women are coming off a second-place finish in the South Atlantic Conference Championships with a team time of 1:55.42 and a score of 53 in the 6k.
