Anderson, S.C.- The Anderson University women's lacrosse team travels to Wingate to take on the Bulldogs after a nine-day break in their schedule.
The Trojans head into Saturday's game 8-5 overall and 3-3 in conference play. The black and gold are coming off their longest break in their game schedule after losing to Newberry on the road 14-9 on March 29. They look to get back into the win column Saturday afternoon.
The Bulldogs are currently ranked #10 with senior midfielder Leah Knowles earning national player of the week honors by USA Lacrosse Magazine. Knowles also captured conference defensive player of the week while teammate Paige Kamer earned offensive player of the week for the South Atlantic Conference. Wingate holds an 11-2 overall record while being 7-0 in the SAC.
First draw is set for 3 p.m. in Wingate, N.C. at Irwin Belk Stadium.
