Women’s Golf Finishes 12th at Catawba’s Patsy Rendleman Invitational

SALISBURY, N.C. - Junior Katie Eskew carded a two-day team-best 23-over-par 167 as the Anderson women's golf team improved two spots to finish 12th at Catawba's Patsy Rendleman Invitational, hosted at the par 72, 5,998 yard Country Club of Salisbury.

Eskew wrapped up the tourney in a six-way tie for 44th, while sophomore Natalie Feder (88-81=169) sliced seven shots off her opening round effort and shared 53rd. Freshman Braiden Furtick (85-86=171) finished two shots further back and claimed 56th, while sophomore Sarah Timms (83-94=177) slipped into a tie for 69th, along with teammate Lindsay Parks (89-88=177).

Newberry (294-304=598) claimed team honors by a 17-shot margin over Tusculum (308-307=615). Anderson (340-338=678) surpassed North Greenville (337-344=681) and Barton (335-346=681), while also finishing in front of Coker (349-336=688) and Belmont Abbey (359-352=711)

The Trojans wrap up their fall slate at the Flagler College Fall Slam next Monday and Tuesday.
