Women's Golf Improves One Spot

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. -- The Anderson College women's golf team shot a spring-low 330 in Tuesday's second round to finish eighth in the 12-team Agnes McAmis Memorial Tournament. The Lady Trojans, who started the second round in ninth place, finished the 36-hole event at the par-72, 5,800-yard Link Hills Country Club with a total of 671. Central Arkansas won the tournament with a 633 total. West Florida was second at 634, and Lincoln Memorial and Lenoir-Rhyne tied for third at 655. Kathryn Adkins led Anderson in the second round with a 76. She was followed by Darcie Davis with an 83, Janie Wichert with an 85, and Brandi Jackson with an 86. The next action for the Lady Trojans is the first CVAC Women's Championship next weekend at the Foxfire Golf Club in Pinehurst, N.C. 2003-04 Tournament By Tournament Results
