Trojans Ranked Third in Final Weekly NCAA Southeast Region Ranking

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - After claiming its second South Atlantic Conference regular-season title in three years last weekend, the Anderson women's basketball team remained third in the Southeast Region in the NCAA's third and final Division II Southeast Region rankings of the season, as released Wednesday.

Anderson, which is entering the South Atlantic Conference Tournament as the top seed, is one of five teams from the SAC in the regional rankings. The 18th-ranked Trojans are riding a 16-game win streak and top the list of teams from the conference.

The top five teams in the rankings remained steady, with Limestone, Columbus State, Anderson, Lander and Wingate continuing to hold the first five spots.
