Trojans Ranked No. 22 in Weekly National Media Poll

ANDERSON, S.C. - Following its No. 3 ranking in the Southeast Region Media Poll on Monday, Anderson University women's basketball remained No. 22 in the National Media Poll, sponsored by D2SIDA, announced by the committee on Tuesday.

The Trojans are riding their longest winning streak in seven seasons of 14 straight and are a win away from at least a share of the South Atlantic Conference regular-season championship. AU carries a 21-3 record with an 18-2 mark in conference play, marking the most conference wins by a SAC team in the history of the league.

After cracking the poll at No. 21 position for the first time this season on Feb. 10, the Trojans have been ranked No. 22 for the last two weeks. Anderson is one of three teams from the Southeast Region to make the top-25, as Limestone is slotted at the No. 2 spot, while Columbus State landed sixth. Lander, which was positioned fourth in Monday's regional rankings, was receiving votes.

Anderson is scheduled to return to the court on Wednesday when it closes its road schedule with a trip to Tusculum. Tip-off from Pioneer Arena is set for 6 p.m.
