CLEMSON, S.C. - The Anderson men's and women's track teams closed out the regular season with stellar performances Friday and Saturday at Clemson's Tiger Track & Field Final Qualifier. In all, two Trojan competitors recorded four top-10 performances at the meet.
Junior Whitney Bishoff captured third in the 1500 meter run with a time of 4:33.03, while teammate Lydia Davis took 11th in a time of 4:46.23.
Fellow junior Lauren Sloan took fifth in the shot put at 12.45 meters and placed eighth in the discus throw with as toss of 37.04. She also claimed eighth in the hammer throw with a distance of 43.68 meters.
On the men's side, freshman Deniz Hay notched an 11th-place finish in the 1500 meter, crossing the line in 3:57.93 and Zach Hart reached a height of 4.40 meters in the pole vault en route to finishing 13th.
Sophomore Will Byars claimed 11th in both the men's discus throw
and the shot put, with distances of 38.23 meters and 13.91 meters,
respectively.
