Barnett, Kush, and Haver Named Jimmy John's Athletes of the Week

ANDERSON, S.C. – Hayes Barnett, Adam Kush, and Mackenzie Haver were all named Jimmy John's Athletes of the Week.

Kush went undefeated at the conference tournament in singles and doubles and helped Anderson snap Wingate's three year run without a conference loss and to help AU make the conference finals for the first time in ten years. The native of Johnston, Pa. did not drop a set in singles, while playing in the No. 2 slot.

Barnett set a program record last week against Coker with seven goals. He also contributed two ground balls and a caused turnover. On the season, he accumulated 15 goals, which ranks fourth on the team. Barnett was also named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division II Team of the Week.

Haver started two games at second base Saturday versus Queens. The native of Simpsonville, S.C. blasted a three-run home run to help the Trojans secure a, 7-2, victory over the Royals. The Trojans are preparing to face Lenoir-Rhyne in the SAC Quarterfinals on Friday at 4:00 p.m., with video and live stats available at www.autrojans.com.

Each week, one male and one female student-athlete are honored as the Jimmy John's Athlete of the Week for his or her performance in competition, in the classroom, or in the community.
