Moncada, Kush and Pudney Earn South Atlantic Conference Postseason Honors

Rock Hill, S.C. – Three Anderson University men's tennis team members garnered South Atlantic Conference ALL-SAC honors, Juan Cruz Moncada, Adam Kush and Thomas Pudney, released by the league on Wednesday morning.

Moncada was selected Honorable Mention- Doubles and Second Team Singles. The native of Chaco, Argentina partnered with Pudney at the No. 1 position. The pair had an overall record of 5-5 and 5-4 in SAC play. Moncada also occupied the No. 1 position in singles action, holding a 9-4 overall record and 8-3 in the conference slate.

Pudney was selected Honorable Mention- Doubles and Honorable Mention-Singles. Pudney and his partner Moncada went 5-5 overall and 5-4 in SAC action. The junior from South End, Great Britain played in the No. 3 slot in single, boasting an 11-2 overall record and 9-2 in conference play.

Kush was selected to Honorable Mention – Singles playing in the No. 2 spot this season. The junior put together a 9-4 overall record and 7-4 conference slate to help the Trojans produce a 10-3 overall record.

The Trojans will travel to Sumter, S.C. on Thursday to begin the SAC Tennis Championship. AU is scheduled to play Lenoir-Rhyne at Noon.
