Sumter, S.C. – The fifth-seeded Anderson University men's tennis team downed top-seeded Wingate, 4-3, to advance to the South Atlantic Conference finals. The Trojans improve to 12-3 overall and will face the third-seeded Pioneers from Tusculum.

Anderson won the doubles portion with No. 1 1. Juan Cruz Moncado and Thomas Pudney grinding it out to defeat Roy Stepanov and Matteo Gostoli, 7-6 (13-11).

AU won the epic battle, with Adam Kush, Aaron Cabo and Tommy Smalley winning a point each in the singles portion to set the final score at , 4-3.

The Black and Gold are scheduled to play No. 3 Tusculum on Saturday. First-serve is slated for 12 pm.
