Sumter, S.C. – The fifth-seeded Anderson University men's tennis team's championship bid fell just short on Saturday afternoon, with the third-seeded Pioneers from Tusculum defeating the Trojans, 4-1, to claim the 2021 SAC Tournament Title. Anderson's season comes to an end with an overall record of 12-4.
The Pioneers continued its red-hot play, winning the first point of the match in the doubles portion.
Anderson's Adam Kush won in the No. 2 slot to capture the lone point for the Trojans.
