ANDERSON, S.C. - The 29th-ranked Anderson University men's tennis team will face Conference Carolinas-foe Queens in the opening round of the 2011 NCAA Southeast Regional Tournament on Sunday, May 1 in Savannah, Ga.

Second-ranked and unbeaten Armstrong Atlantic will host the event, one of two sites for the Southeast Region. The winner of the Anderson (13-8)/Queens (17-2) matchup will face the host Pirates (25-0) on Monday, May 2, while the other semifinal contest will feature 12th-ranked Flagler (13-8) versus 20th-ranked Augusta State. The eventual winner will advance to the Sweet 16 in Altamonte Springs, Fla. May 11-14.

The Trojans will be making their 12th consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament after knocking off top-seeded Wingate, 5-4, in last week's South Atlantic Conference Tournament. AU has faced two of the schools in the regional, dropping road decisions to Augusta State and Armstrong Atlantic.
