ANDERSON, S.C. -- Lander's Fredrik Hoglund beat Anderson's Gabor Boczonadi, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 for the decisive point to give the No. 14 Senators a 5-4 victory over the No. 15 Trojans Wednesday afternoon at the Max Grubbs Memorial Courts. Anderson led 2-1 after doubles thanks to a rally by the No. 2 doubles team of Boczonadi and Olof Hallstrom. Serving for the set up 7-6, Boczonadi and Hallstrom fell behind Hoglund and Geno Urbanovich, 15-40, but they rallied to take the game and send the match to singles. Anderson held a 4-3 with two singles matches remaining, but Lander's Carl Hesser beat AC's Karan Doctor 6-3, 7-6 at No. 2, and Hoglund outlasted Boczonadi at No. 1.
