ANDERSON, S.C. -- Anderson College pulled out a pair of difficult victories at the top three singles spots on its way to a 6-3 victory over Augusta State Wednesday afternoon at the Max Grubbs Memorial Courts. The victory improves Anderson to 6-0. Leading 2-1 after doubles, the Trojans got a three-set victory at No. 2 by Karan Doctor and survived two 7-5 first sets at No. 1 (Gabor Boczonadi) and No. 3 (Sid Sudhakar) to pull out a pair of straight set victories. The Trojans even provided some drama in doubles. Doctor and Sudhakar pulled out a 9-7 victory at No. 1 doubles over Zia Hai and Guillaume Payment. Singles -- Gabor Boczonadi (AC) d.
