Trojans Rally To Rip Mount Olive

GOLDSBORO, N.C. -- Anderson College rallied from a 2-1 deficit in doubles to beat Mount Olive 5-2 in a men's CVAC match Friday afternoon. Anderson improves to 8-2 overall and 5-0 in the CVAC. The Trojans lost at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles but won No. 1, No. 2, and No. 5 singles in straight sets to take a 4-2 lead. Olof Hallstrom closed out the match with a three-set victory at No. 3 singles. Singles -- Gabor Boczonadi (AC) d. Dave Smith, 6-1, 6-2; Sid Sudhakar (AC) d. Juase Schutte, 6-3, 6-4; Olof Hallstrom (AC) d. Ibrahim Bouaabdalli, 1-6, 6-0, 6-2; James Fitzgerald (AC) d. Aldo Barbu, 6-2, 7-5. Doubles -- Boczonadi-Sudhakar (AC) d. Bouaabdalli-Barbu, 8-6; Smith-Rochard (MO) d. Botha-Webb, 8-6; Shutte-Franzsen (MO) d. Fitzgerald-Webb, 8-4.
