SALISBURY, N.C. - The Anderson College men's tennis team opened its spring schedule with a 7-2 victory at Catawba Saturday. Anderson won three singles matches in straight sets and survived two three-set matches at No. 3 and No. 6. Sid Sudhakar at No. 3 and Charl Botha at No. 5 both lost the first set then rallied to win. Doubles - Karan Doctor-Olof Hallstrom (AC) d. Evan Bowling-Alex Luc, 8-3; Gabor Boczonadi-Sid Sudhakar (AC) d. Geoff Fouad-Rich, 8-3; Eric Noll-Alvin Owusu (Cat) d. Charl Botha-James Fitzgerald, 8-3. Singles - Bowling (Cat) d. Doctor, 6-4, 6-0; Boczonadi (AC) d. Luc, 6-4, 6-4; Sudhakar (AC) d. Noll, 4-6, 6-3, 7-5; Hallstrom (AC) d. Owusu, 6-1, 6-2; Botha (AC) d.
