New London, N.C. -- The Anderson men's golf team finds itself in seventh following Monday's opening-round action at the Johnny Palmer Invitational hosted by Pfeiffer University at the par-72, 7,102 yard Old North State Country Club. Sophomore Ryan Booth carded an impressive first-round three-over 75 and is in a three-way tie for fourth heading into Tuesday's final round, while teammate Chase Epting posted an 81 on the opening day and sits in a tie for 24th. Freshman Thomas Harper entered the clubhouse tied for 50th with an 86 and senior Charlie Bagwell posted an 88 to tie for 61st. Junior Aaron Acord (90) is tied for 66th heading into the final round. The final round tees off tomorrow morning. RESULTS
