Men's Golf Team Finishes Ninth At Outback

PANAMA CITY, Fla. -- The Anderson University men's golf team shot a 304 in the second round of the Outback Intercollegiate at The Hombre to finish in ninth place in the 18-team tournament. St. Edwards shot a 288 in the final round to win the tournament with a 591 total, three shots ahead of Lenior-Rhyne. Armstrong Atlantic State was third at 595. Anderson finished the tournament at 622. Clay Williamson led the Trojans in the final round with a 72. Adam Sheriff shot 76, Nick Kirby shot 77, and Ryan Sprayberry carded a 79 to round out Anderson's second round. Sheriff finished in 16th place with a 36-hole total of 151.
