NEW ORLEANS - The Anderson University women's and men's outdoor track and field teams each moved up three spots to finish the regular season ranked second and fourth, respectively, in the Southeast Region by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
The women's squad, previously ranked fifth in the region, vaulted past Limestone, King College and Columbus State all the way into second place, just behind top-ranked Mount Olive, while the men's team moved from seventh into the fourth spot. The men passed Columbus State, Wingate and Mars Hill. Mount Olive also held the top spot on the men's side, ahead of UNC Pembroke and King College.
