ANDERSON, S.C. – The Anderson University women's soccer program has added eleven student-athletes for the upcoming 2023 season, announced on Friday by Trojan head coach Sarah Jacobs.
The Black and Gold welcome: Whitley Anderson (Kathleen, Ga./Houston County High School), Madison Bowling (Augusta, Ga./Lakeside High School), Rylee Carroll (Anderson, S.C./TL Hanna High School), McKenna Falarski (Los Gatos, Cali./Leigh High School/The Citadel), Arriel Frey (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Mechanicsburg Area Senior High), Kaitlyn Gregory (Cincinnati, Ohio/Williamsburg High School), Leanna Guion (Simpsonville, S.C./Mauldin High School/Wofford College), Mary Krieger (Broomfield, Colo./Broomfield High School), Sophie Lodovici (Dillsburg, Pa./Northern High School), Emma Lowe (Summerville, S.C./Ashley Ridge High School) and Kaky Sears (Charleston, S.C./West Ashley High School) to the team for the upcoming 2023 campaign.
Jacobs on 2023 Class: "We are excited to welcome a new class to the Trojan family. This class brings both a youthful energy from incoming freshmen and veteran experience from graduate transfers. We look forward to mixing both of these characteristics with a strong, committed returning group. Each of these Trojans has displayed qualities through the recruiting process that I believe will help us in the pursuit of our goals of building culture, excelling academically, and winning championships."
The Trojans are slated to open its 2023 season on the road on August 31st at Belmont Abbey with the home opener on September 2nd versus Flagler. Kick-offs are scheduled for 5 pm and 1 pm, respectively.
