ROCK HILL, S.C. - Anderson's Nelliah Wilson has been named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the tenth week of the 2023-34 season, the Conference announced today.
Wilson, a senior from Fairfax Station, Va., scored 21 points, including the eventual game-winning layup, and grabbed 12 rebounds in the home win over Wingate on Wednesday. She also blocked four shots and dished out three assists. Wilson then scored 18 points, ripped down 14 rebounds and blocked another four shots to defeat Emory & Henry and help the Trojans go 2-0 on the week. Wilson currently leads the league in rebounds per game (11.4) and ranks second in shooting percentage (58%).
