GREENSBORO, Ga. -- The Anderson College men's golf team shot 301 in the final round of the NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional Wednesday at the Harbor Club, but the Trojans failed to move out of fifth place. Barton College also fired a 301 in the final round to finish with a 54-hole total of 906, one shot better than Coker and two shots better than 18-hole and 36-hole leader Pfeiffer. Belmont Abbey was fourth at 925, and Anderson was fifth at 926. Pfeiffer's Andrew McArthur fired a final round of 70 to take the individual title. He finished the 54-hole event with a total of 211, nine shots better than Coker's Chris Taylor. Anderson was led by Kyle Owings, who shot a 1-under 71 in the final round for a total of 224. Anderson's other third-round scores were Denton Moore 75, Jon Hines 77, and Jon Ferguson and Brad Eskierka, who both shot 78. Fin.
