ANDERSON, S.C. - Due to the threat of incoming storms, today's South Atlantic Conference baseball game between Newberry College and Anderson University has moved up to a start time of 5 p.m. No decision has been made on Saturday's doubleheader at this time.
The Wolves (20-24, 12-12 SAC) and Trojans (18-28, 9-15 SAC) are
set to play a three-game series this weekend, with implications for
next week's Food Lion SAC Tournament, which will be held next week.
The Trojans need to sweep the series to earn a berth in the
tourney, while Newberry needs just one win in the series to
guarantee a spot in the tournament, and can move to as high as the
fourth seed depending on results around the league this
weekend.
