Lady Trojans Finish In A Tie For Fourth

SALISBURY, N.C. -- The Anderson College women's golf team finished in a tie for fourth place at the Patsy Rendleman Invitational Tuesday. Anderson shot 327-339 for a 36-hole total of 666 to finish in a tie with Newberry. Central Arkansas won the 13-team tournament with rounds of 314-303 for a two-round total of 617. Pfeiffer was second at 634, and Wingate was third at 660. Anderson was led in the second round by Erin May with an 82. May finished with in a tie for 16th place with a total of 163. Anderson's other second round scores were Jenny Odle 85, Carlie Eastman 86, and Jenny Fretwell 86. Paige Haverty of Catawba won the individual title with a two-round total of 145 (70-75). Christina Lecuyer of Central Arkansas was second at 147, and Andrea Grier of Pfeiffer was third at 149.
