Women’s Basketball Adds Jaclyn Moore to Roster

ANDERSON, S.C. - Anderson head women's basketball coach Jim Brunelli has announced the addition of Ogdensburg, N.Y., native Jaclyn Moore to the Trojans' roster, beginning this fall.

Moore, a 6-foot-3 center, averaged nearly a double-double for Coach Dick Marcellus' Lisbon High Golden Knights last season, scoring 14.6 points and recording 8.3 rebounds during her senior campaign. She also blocked 3.3 shots and dished out more than one assist per contest.

"I am very pleased to welcome Jaclyn to the AU women's basketball family," Brunelli said. We are excited to add her size and ability to the post position."

Moore was chosen as a Class D Sixth Team All-State selection by the New York State Sportswriters and Coaches Organization and was inducted into the Lisbon Hardwood Club last December after scoring her 1,000 career point. She joined her two sisters, Jenn and Erin, and Heather Dority as the only girls to enter the Lisbon Hardwood Club.
