ANDERSON, S.C.– Anderson University Softball has released its 2024 schedule, slated to begin on the road at USC Beaufort on February 1st.

Anderson is led by head coach Tommy Hewitt, entering his 19^th season at the helm of the Black and Gold. Hewitt has guided the Trojans to 539 overall wins and six NCAA appearances during his tenure and was named the South Atlantic Conference Coach of the Year in 2014 and 2022.

The 52-game regular season will feature 28 home games and 24 road games. The Trojans will open the season at nonconference opponent USC Beaufort on Wednesday, Feb. 1^st and will remain on the road on the 3^rd and the 7^th before returning to open its home schedule, hosting the Trojan Early Bird Classic on February 9^th and 10^th. The Classic will feature games against nonconference opponents Southern Wesleyan University and Benedict College.

The Black and Gold will also have home contests against nonconference opponents Augusta, USC Aiken, West Liberty, Georgia College, Barton, and Converse with SAC home games against Catawba, Limestone, Tusculum, Newberry, Lincoln Memorial, and Coker.

The Trojans will have road trips to nonconference opponents USC Beaufort, North Greenville, Young Harris, UNC Pembroke, Emmanuel, and Savanah State with SAC road games against Mars Hill, Emory & Henry, UVA Wise, Wingate, Carson-Newman and Lenoir-Rhyne.
