Game #1
Anderson 10 Southern Wesleyan 0 (5 innings)

Freshman catcher Laura Jansky recorded her first collegiate home run, while second baseman Kinsley Durham was a perfect two-for-two with two RBI on the morning. Senior pitcher Casey Deer earned her seventh win of the season.

Along with a great pitching effort from Deer, the Trojans were able to use a six-run inning and a four-run inning to pick up their 11th win on the season.

Southern Wesleyan held Anderson hitless over the first two innings until the Trojans produced six runs off of five hits in the third. With no outs, the Trojans were able to get two runs in off of a throwing error from the Southern Wesleyan outfield. Three batters later, Amber Duncan managed to hit a fly ball deep enough to leftfield to score Danielle Swygert. The RBI was the junior's 12th on the season. The next batter, Jansky gave the Trojans a cushion with a three-run home run that sailed over the left-field fence. The home run was the freshman's first in a Trojan uniform.

In the fourth inning the Trojans were able to put the game away with four more runs. With one out and runners on second and third, Swygert singled to center field to score Brooke Lucas. With Emily Monteith at the plate next, the Warriors committed another error, allowing Durham to score and give the Trojans the 8-0 lead. Anderson would cruise on to victory with two more RBI from Abby Child and Jansky to pick up the 10-0 win.

Janksy led the Trojans with four RBI on the day. The freshman went one-for-three. Durham went a perfect two-for-two with two RBI in the win.

Casey Deer (6-5) started the game for Anderson, going four innings. The senior gave up just two hits and no runs. Freshman Kelsey Davis closed out the game by tossing an inning of relief, surrendering two hits and striking out one.

Game #2
Auburn Montgomery 3, Anderson 2 (8 innings)

Although the Trojans' bats cooled off a little in the second game, the pitching efforts continued to be superb on the afternoon.

Anderson jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead after a two-run opening inning. After a Swygert double, Monteith hit a homer over the outfield fence to make the score 2-0. The blast was the senior's third on the year.

The Trojans went into the final inning with a 2-1 lead but were unable to seal their 12th win after the Senators were able to produce a much-needed run. Joanna Reynolds hit an RBI-single to score Jessica Perry and knot the score up at two apiece. In extra innings the Senators were able to pick up their ninth win on the season when, with two outs and the placed runner on second, Brandi Richards was able to double down the left-field line to give Auburn-Montgomery the 3-2 advantage.

Swygert and Lyndsey Huitt each went two for three in the second game. Alex Waldroup (2-1) went 7 1/3 for Anderson, surrendering seven hits which led to three runs.

Anderson opens a 12-game homestand on Tuesday when former conference foe Belmont Abbey invades Smethers Field. First-pitch is slated for 4 p.m.
