ANDERSON, S.C. – Anderson University men's tennis blanked Conference Carolinas opponent Southern Wesleyan; 9-0 on Wednesday afternoon at the AU Tennis Complex.

With the win, Anderson moves to 6-2 on the season while Southern Wesleyan falls to 2-4.

The Trojans swept the doubles action with Nicolas Ascarrunz and Jeffrey Dayton (AU) earning the first point of the day by defeating Keegan Barkley and Stan Grzeslo (SWU), 8-3, at the No. 1 slot. Picking up point number two was Trojan tandem Juan Carracedo and Jerry Price (AU) over Urs Widow and Harry Reed (SWU), 8-1, in the No. 3 position. Ignacio Bidegain and Preston Morpeth (AU) battled Camilo Sandoval and Daniel Bolivar (SWU) to an 8-6 victory claiming the third point of the day.

The Black and Gold picked up all six singles matches with five of them being in straight sets to earn the 9-0 victory over the Warriors.

Anderson returns to action on Friday, Feb. 24 when it travels to Conference Carolinas foe Belmont Abbey. First serve is slated for 1 p.m.
