Men’s Tennis Adds Three for 2014-15

ANDERSON, S.C. - After the 2014 season ended in the quarterfinals of the 2014 Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Tournament, Anderson University men's tennis head coach Joey Eskridge announced his 2015 class on Thursday, adding three players to the squad for next season.

Eskridge welcomes Harrison Kansol (Kennesaw, Ga. / Harrison H.S.), Luis Moreno (Weston, Fla. / St. Thomas Aquinas H.S.) and Grant Patton (Charlotte, N.C. / South Mecklenburg H.S.) to the team as they will look to provide depth to a youthful Trojan roster. Last year, AU carried just one senior in No. 6 player, Danilo Faria.

Name: Harrison Kansol
Hometown: Kennesaw, Ga.
Previous School: Harrison H.S.

Ranked as a 3-star recruit by TennisRecruiting.net, Kansol was rated in the top-40 within the state of Georgia. Following his senior season at Harrison High School, Kansol was named to team's MVP after winning a GHSA Region 4AAAA title in 2011.

Name: Luis Moreno
Hometown: Weston, Fla.
Previous School: St. Thomas Aquinas H.S.

Rated a 2-star recruit by TennisRecruiting.net, Moreno was ranked No. 58 in the Sunshine State. In Moreno's last season at Aquinas, the left-hander led his team to a district championship.

Name: Grant Patton
Hometown: Charlotte, N.C.
Previous School: South Mecklenburg H.S.

According to TennisRecruiting.net, Patton is ranked No. 25 in North Carolina and No. 224 in the Southeast Region. Patton was named the team's MVP following his final two seasons at South Meck and is a two-time recipient of the top doubles team award. Patton was also a qualifier for the SW 4A Regional.
