Men's Soccer Student-Athletes Shine at Innovate Carolina Student Competition

RALEIGH, N.C. - Business majors and members of the men's soccer team Brad Du Plooy (SR), Remi Lesterlou (JR), and Johnny Landis (S0) place third in Innovate Carolina 2017 Student Competition.

The competition was compiled of seven (7) graduate teams and four (4) undergraduate teams submissions from North Carolina State University, Winston-Salem State University and Anderson University. Scoring was based on Product Concept, Innovation, Value, Market and Promotion with the highest possible score of 50. The final team scores were often separated by only 0.1 of a point.

Innovate Carolina is an annual conference held in North Carolina, focused on innovation and new product development. Innovate Carolina is sponsored by the Carolinas chapter of the Product Development Management Association (PDMA), an association focused on improving the skills and capabilities of its members in product development, product management and innovation.
