ANDERSON, S.C. – Anderson University men's soccer wraps up its regular season play when it host South Atlantic Conference opponent Mars Hill on Saturday at Trojan Stadium.

Since entering the SAC before the 2010 season, Anderson and Mars Hill have met nine times, including three matchups in the SAC Tournament. In the span, the Trojans hold a 6-2-1 record against their Tar Heel State rivals, with AU winning last year's match, 1-0.

#8 Brad Du Plooy – Du Plooy has started 59 matches and appeared in 68 matches for AU. Du Plooy has tallied 8 goals and 11 assists over his career and currently leads the team in points for the 2016 season. In 2013 Du Plooy helped the Trojans to its fourth NCAA appearance and fourth consecutive appearance in the South Atlantic Conference Championship match.

#1 Devon Ashy – Ashy has been a staple in the Trojan defense for the last two seasons, garnering 16 wins for the program, including 6 shutouts while appearing and starting in 37 matches during his career. Ashy was a member of the 2012 team who won the South Atlantic Conference Championship. In 2013 he helped the team make its fourth consecutive appearance in the South Atlantic Conference Championships match and claim a spot in the NCAA National Tournament. In 2015 Ashy was named as the team's Most Valuable Player, helping the team finish the season tied for fourth in the South Atlantic Conference.

#2 Ryo Ogawa- In 2015 Ogawa was selected to the South Atlantic 2nd team All- Conference while being named to the 2016 pre-season South Atlantic 1st team All-Conference. . Ogawa is a talented player who is very exciting to watch and will certainly be remembered as one of the best defenders to have competed for AU.

MARS HILL OVERVIEW
