CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Paced by senior Emily Eckroth, the Anderson women's cross country team brought home 26th place at the Charlotte Invitational, hosted by UNC Charlotte Friday afternoon at McAlpine Park.

Eckroth, a native of Spartanburg, S.C., led the Trojans for the third time in as many outings, with a time of 25:20.20 and finished 138th. Fellow senior Amanda Mahaffey (25:41.84) crossed the line in 145th, while sophomore Madison Guest (25:58.66) finished 152nd.
