ROCK HILL, S.C. – Anderson University men's tennis team has been picked to finish fourth in the South Atlantic Conference Coaches' Poll, while the women's tennis team was picked T-4th, released by the league on Friday.
Wingate men and women topped the polls as the league favorite. On the men's side, the Bulldogs claimed 12 first place votes with Catawba earning one. On the women's side, Wingate notched 11 first place votes, with Newberry and Anderson each claiming one top-vote apiece.
The 2023 Anderson Men's Tennis team finished its season (14-5, 9-3 SAC) earning a fourth-place finish in SAC regular season play. The Trojan were defeated by Limestone, 4-1, in the quarterfinals.
The 2023 Anderson Women's Tennis team finished the season (15-5, 9-3 SAC) finishing fourth overall in the SAC regular season. The Black and Gold were just edged out in the SAC Quarterfinals by Catawba, 4-3.
Anderson opens the 2024 home slate on Tuesday, February 6th against Converse. First-serve for both the men and women is 2 pm at the AU Tennis Complex.
