Men's Tennis On A Roll; Blasts Pfeiffer, 9-0

MISENHEIMER, N.C. -- The Anderson College men's tennis team won its fourth straight match by a 9-0 score Saturday at Pfeiffer. Since losing to Barton 5-4 on Feb. 19, the Trojans have not lost a team point in four matches. The Falcons came close to ending the streak on Saturday at No. 3 doubles. But the Anderson team of Srikrishna Ramanathan and Raul Luna pulled out a 9-7 victory over the Pfeiffer team of Kent Whitner and Jay Nicholas. Anderson, 6-2 overall and 4-2 in the CVAC, won all six singles matches in straight sets. The loss drops Pfeiffer to 0-4, 0-2. Anderson 9, Pfeiffer 0 Doubles -- Magat-Sudhakar (AC) d.
