Road Trip to Catawba on Deck for Men’s Lacrosse

ANDERSON, S.C. -- Men's lacrosse rounds out their three-game road stretch on Saturday (March 30), facing Catawba at noon.

"Tomorrow will be a great test against a talented, well-coached team at a tough place to play," said head coach Albert Mitchell. "We're looking forward to the test."

The Trojans and Indians both enter the game following midweek road losses to ranked South Atlantic Conference opponents. Anderson sits 5-6 overall and 3-2 in SAC play after falling to No. 1 Limestone, 19-12. Catawba are 6-5 on the season, also 3-2 in the SAC, and dropped their contest against No. 8 Wingate, 19-6.

AU is 1-2 all-time versus Catawba, with last year's matchup seeing the Black and Gold claim a 12-8 victory at Spero Financial Field.

Following the weekend, the Trojans are back home on April 6 to face Wingate. Opening faceoff is slated for noon.
