ANDERSON, S.C. - Anderson University head men's golf coach Danny Neal has announced that Jake Miller has signed a national letter of intent and will compete for the Trojans, beginning in the fall of 2016.
Miller, a hometown product out of T.L. Hanna High School, was a member of the 2013 and 2015 Yellow Jackets' squads that qualified for the South Carolina 4A State Championships. He finished fourth in the region after carding a two-day 150, while earning a spot on the 2015 Region One 4A All Region Team.
Miller fired a 74 en route to a ninth-place finish at the 2015
4A Upper State Tournament and also qualified and made the cut at
the 2015 South Carolina Amateur, garnering a 75th-place finish. He
posted a low-tournament round 68 at the 2015 Orange Jacket Classic
at the Pickens (South Carolina) Country Club.
