ANDERSON, S.C. - The Anderson volleyball team is ranked eighth in the Southeast Region in the latest poll released by the NCAA Division II Women's Volleyball Committee Wednesday afternoon, joining four other teams from the South Atlantic Conference in the top 10.
The Trojans' surge has not gone unnoticed, as AU claimed its sixth win in the last eight outings Wednesday night and moved up from 10th in last week's regional poll.
The conference tournament champions from the South Atlantic Conference, Conference Carolinas and the Peach Belt Conference along with the next five ranked teams, for a total of eight squads, advance to next month's NCAA Regional tournament.
