DUE WEST, S.C. - Despite a .302 hitting percentage on the night, the Anderson volleyball team fell, 3-1 (21-25, 21-25, 25-15, 20-25) to Erskine in non-conference volleyball action Wednesday night at Belk Arena.
Anderson dropped to 10-6 on the season, while Erskine improved to 12-5 overall and has won four in a row and seven of its last eight contests.
Erskine hit .444 in the first set en route to the first-set win and claimed the second frame by an identical count. The Trojans rallied to take the third set by a comfortable edge, but dropped the fourth and final set by yet another narrow margin.
Senior Jamie Lancaster and freshman Tori Calhoon each posted 14 kills on the night, with Calhoon notching a .419 attack percentage. Freshman Haley Hoover handed out 30 assists and Adria Mullaney recorded a match-high 19 digs.

at Wingate Saturday versus the Bulldogs and Peach Belt-foe
Montevallo. First-serve versus the Indians in Salisbury, N.C., is
slated for 7 p.m., while doubleheader action at Wingate starts at
noon.
