ANDERSON, S.C. - Anderson outside hitter Jamie Lancaster has been named the Volleyball Player of the Week, while Anderson setter Lindsay Doggett has been named Volleyball Specialist of the Week, the league announced Monday.

Lancaster, a senior from Fountain Inn, S.C. (Hillcrest HS), helped lead the Trojans to a perfect 3-0 record in conference action, including sweeps past Newberry and Brevard. She averaged a double-double over the three-match span, with 16.7 kills and 11 digs. Lancaster notched a team-best 5.00 kills per set and 3.30 digs per set while hitting .348 for the week. She posted a match-high 19 kills with just two errors and 17 digs in the Trojans' three-set win past Newberry, while hitting .378 on the night. She had 11 kills and seven digs in the sweep past Brevard Friday night then had 20 kills and came up with nine digs to help AU run its win streak to three matches. On the week, Lancaster tallied 50 kills, 33 digs, three blocks and two aces.

Doggett, a senior from Jacksonville, Ala. (Jacksonville HS), averaged 11.10 assists per set in helping lead Anderson to a perfect 3-0 record on the week. She handed out a match-high 31 assists in the sweep over Brevard to set a new school record for career assists after dishing out a match-high 42 assists at Newberry three days earlier. The Trojans notched a four-set win past Lenoir-Rhyne that saw Doggett hand out 38 assists and come up with seven digs on the afternoon. In addition to her assists, Doggett recorded six aces and averaged 2.30 digs.

Anderson will get back on the court with a non-conference match at Augusta State on Wednesday. First-serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
