ROCK HILL, S.C.  – The South Atlantic Conference announced its WePlayed Sports Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week for games played during the tenth week of the 2024 season. Anderson swept the weekly awards as Sophia Santagata was named the Offensive Player of the Week and Katy Snyder was named the Defensive Player of the Week.

Santagata, a sophomore from North Port, Fla., recorded seven goals and three assists while adding three ground balls, two draw controls and three caused turnovers on the week. She posted three goals, a ground ball and two caused turnovers in the 17-3 victory over Virginia State on Friday and led the charge in the Trojan's historic 16-15 win over No. 16 Wingate as she recorded four goals, three assists, two ground balls, two draw controls and a caused turnover to help seal Anderson's first-ever victory over a ranked opponent.

Snyder, a sophomore from Moore, S.C., collected six ground balls and added nine caused turnovers on the week as Anderson collected a pair of victories. In Friday's victory over Virginia State, she recorded four ground balls and six caused turnovers. Snyder then helped to lead a stout defense on Saturday, as the Trojans made history with a 16-15 victory over No. 16 Wingate. Her three caused turnovers along with two ground balls helped Anderson defeat their first nationally-ranked opponent in program history.
