ROCK HILL, S.C. -- The South Atlantic Conference announced its WePlayed Sports Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week for games played during the eighth week of the 2024 season. Anderson swept the weekly awards as Alicia Cannon was named the Offensive Player of the Week and Ava Drath was named the Defensive Player of the Week.

Cannon, a sophomore from Tarzana, Calif., recorded 12 points, split over five goals and seven assists, as the Trojans defeated Emmanuel on Wednesday. She also added eight ground balls, five draw controls and one caused turnover.

Drath, a sophomore from Hudsonville, Mich., helped the Trojans to extend their win streak to four with a 23-15 win over Emmanuel on Wednesday. Drath recorded 12 saves in the contest.
