GREENEVILLE, Tenn. - The Anderson College women's golf team shot a 344 in the first round of the McAmis Memorial Tournament Monday at the Link Hills Golf Club. Anderson is in a tie for sixth with Montevallo in the 15-team field. First-round eader Longwood set two records in the first round - lowest team round (308) and lowest individual round - 71 by Stephanie Hicks. The Lady Trojans were led in the first round by Brandi Jackson, who shot 79 and is tied for eighth in the individual standings. Anderson's other three scores were: Darcie Davis 83, Kathryn Adkins 86, and Whitney Stokes 96. Davis' 83 was the best round of her AC career. The second round will be played Tuesday.
