Women's Golf Team Finishes Sixth At Kiawah

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. -- The Anderson College women's golf team struggled to a 357 in the second round and finished sixth int he Tusculum/Kiawah Island Invitational at the Cougar Point Golf Club Sunday. The Lady Trojans entered Sunday's final round in third place, but they went backwards in the final round. Lenior-Rhyne shot a 327 in the final round with finish with a 36-hole total of 675 and win the title by two shots over Northern Kentucky. Wingate (691) was third, host Tusculum (692) was fourth, Lincoln Memorial (702) was fifth, and Anderson (704) was sixth. Anderson's Brandi Jackson finished in a tie for fifth in the individual standings. Jackson shot 81-84 for a two-round total of 165. Kim Keyer-Scott of Northern Kentucky (78-72) won the individual title at 150. Rachel McFarland of Tusculum was second at 162. Anderson College Scores T5. Brandi Jackson..........81- 84-165 10.
