CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Anderson College women's golf team is in seventh place after the first round of the Top-Flite/Raffertys Tournament Sunday at the Regent Park Golf Club. The Lady Trojans shot a 346 and trail tournament leader Lenior-Rhyne by 12 shots entering Monday's final round. The AC women are just two shots out of third place. Kathryn Adkins led AC with a 79, which included an eagle on the par-4 14th hole. Adkins is in third place in the individual standings, while teammate Brandi Jackson, who shot an 82, is in eighth place. AC's other scores were: Whitney Stokes 92, Janie Wichert 93, and Darcie Davis 93.
