COLUMBIA, S.C. – Anderson University sophomore Connor Wheatly and freshman Regan Appleby each competed in UofSC's Carolina Challenge, on Friday at the Gamecock's Indoor Track and Field Complex.

Wheatley, a Greenville, S.C., native claimed 24th place in the men's shot put with a toss of 10.84 meters, while Appleby, a native of Eau Claire, Wisc., Appleby finished 18th in the women's shot put with a distance of 10.59 meters.
