Lady Trojans Blank St. Andrews, 4-0

ANDERSON, S.C. -- Four different players scored goals and Amanda English and Bethany Craig combined for a shutout to lead Anderson College to a 4-0 victory over St. Andrews Presbyterian College in a CVAC match Saturday afternoon at Smethers Field. Anderson improves to 1-4-1 overall and 1-2 in the CVAC, while St. Andrews falls to 0-5, 0-2. Anderson scored two goals in each half. Megan Delancey opened the scoring for Anderson off a free kick at the 14:39 mark. Larrisa Fedorowich scored Anderson's second goal of the first half off an assist from Crystal Gaffney at the 33:40 mark. In the second half, Catherine Thomas scored at 69:35 and Clary McCord found the back of the Knight net at 73:47 to secure Anderson's first victory of the season. English made three saves in the first half and Craig made two saves in the second half to blank the Knights. Anderson had 16 shots to 10 for St. Andrews. Anderson College Women's Soccer Statistics
