HIGH POINT, N.C. - The Anderson University men's track and field team completed a great weekend at the VertKlasse Meeting, setting a pair of school records in the 1,500m and the 110m hurdles. On day one, Elliot Dotson set the new 1,500m school record with a time of 3:49.74, while on day two Dallas Cantrell set the 110m hurdles school record with a time of 16.57.
"Our teams really showed out today in tough conditions with high winds and rain," said coach Kevin Eagle. "Some meets are simply for testing yourself when conditions are not perfect. Today was definitely one of those. I'm proud of how the athletes performed and it bodes well for if we have to run in similar conditions when it comes to the postseason."
